Who we are

What we collect
- Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your email address and message so we can reply.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site secure and working.
- Cookies. See the cookie section below.
We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t ask you to create an account.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
- Replying to your messages: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
- Running and securing the website: our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and safe.
- Non-essential cookies: only with your consent.
Affiliate links
When you click a link to Amazon or another retailer, you leave our website. That retailer may set its own cookies to track the referral, and its own privacy policy applies, for example Amazon.co.uk’s Privacy Notice. We only receive anonymous reports of clicks and sales, not your name or contact details.
Our WhatsApp channel
Our channel runs on WhatsApp, a service of Meta. WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to your use of it. As channel admins, we can’t see followers’ phone numbers.
Cookies
We use:
- Essential cookies needed for the site to work, such as remembering your cookie choice and keeping administrators logged in.
- Optional cookies, such as analytics, only if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.
Who we share data with
We use trusted service providers to run the site, including our web hosting and email providers. They only process data on our behalf. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.
How long we keep it
- Emails: up to 2 years, then deleted unless we’re still in contact.
- Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes.
Your rights
